The Soul Store separation
Project status. The Soul Store is no longer an agentbox product. It has been separated from this experiment and is not maintained or documented by this repository.
The Soul Store began as a small companion to agentbox.id: a curated catalogue of SillyTavern V2 character cards that could be imported into agent runtimes as SOUL.md. The mailbox experiment dealt with how an agent could be reached; the Soul Store explored what persistent identity might sit behind that address.

The two ideas were related, but they were not technically dependent:
- the mailbox did not require a character card or
SOUL.md; - a soul could be installed without an agentbox mailbox;
- SoulTavern, the card-import engine, was already a separate open-source project;
- the catalogue and the mailbox served different users and had different product boundaries.
Treating the store as a sibling agentbox product eventually obscured that independence. It has therefore been removed from this site's active navigation and product structure. Historical essays may still refer to it because it influenced the identity argument developed during the experiment.
This page intentionally does not provide current installation instructions, catalogue links, or support claims. Those belong to the independent project that now owns the Soul Store's direction.
